Engineering (Technical) Procurement and Negotiation - 1 Day

Introduction

The process of procurement starts from a request from a requestor or a panel of project team. Based on the size of the request, the strategic decision made shall be based on the nature of raw material (Engineering items), Project based Equipment/Machinery or specialized technical services. These are classified into three main categories.

1. Standard items for regular consumption based on average usage rates
2. Special material, projects or services that need to be tendered out based on specific criteria set by the requestor, where a selection process is involved based on pricing, capabilities and past experience.
3. The third one is on projects, granted based on conditions stipulated by a contract agreement or management for a specific technical service or supplies which are time bound.

This procurement, tendering, and contract management training program offers a comprehensive procurement and contract management guide that equips the participants with the needed negotiation skillsets to manage these processes effectively and align them with organizational strategies for optimal results.
